Chris is one of the newest members of the Qtac team. Joining us in December 2017, he has come on board as our apprentice assisting the sales team at Qtac, working closely alongside the marketing function for the business.
He is currently studying digital marketing, as part of his apprenticeship, which he will complete at the end of March 2019.
What does Chris do at Qtac?
His daily tasks include taking and processing customers’ orders and sending them across the licence pin for the software.
To ensure he completes the requirements of his apprenticeship he has started to work closely with the Marketing Director and outsourced marketing team to help deliver and organise online marketing solutions for the business.
He has taken on the responsibility for sending out email campaigns, which include a monthly newsletter for Qtac clients, customer update emails, event announcements and follow up automation.
As well as this, Chris now manages Qtac Social Media channels which include Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. He will be responsible for ensuring that we are regularly sharing relevant payroll and financial news, engaging with customers and other businesses, as well as implementing paid advertising campaigns. This will help improve the reach of the brand, improve engagement and drive more traffic to the website which will hopefully lead to more enquiries, fingers crossed!
Chris is also really keen at designing; this includes creating graphics which can be used across email and social media campaigns. Blogging and content development will also be a key part of Chris’ role, this will include a monthly blog about his life as an apprentice so keep an eye out for this on our blog.
More About Chris and his Role at Qtac
Chris especially enjoys the friendly office culture at Qtac, and he feels he can learn something new every day and grow professionally.
Before his current position, he had a part-time job in retail and a weekend job helping run events.
Qtac will benefit from having additional support to deliver digital marketing for the business, as social media and marketing online is a big part of growing the company, and he believes this is something that Qtac can do more of.
In his spare time, Chris likes to keep fit by playing football or going to the gym.
